How to change your ventilation unit filters?

Filter replacement 🔄 – a simple task you can easily do yourself. Just follow this quick guide:

✅ 1. Switch off the unit

  • Stop the ventilation via the app or remote control.
  • Wait until the fan has completely stopped.
  • For best safety – disconnect the unit from the mains.

❌ Do not touch the electric heater – it may be hot!

✅ 2. Open the filter cover

On most ventilation units the cover can be opened without tools. If needed, undo a few screws.

✅ 3. Remove the old filters

  • Note their position and the direction of the airflow arrow.
  • If there are no markings – add your own labels.
  • If possible – vacuum the inside of the unit to remove dust.

✅ 4. Insert the new filters

  • Follow the airflow direction (arrow on the filter).
  • Manufacturers usually indicate airflow direction and filter slots inside the ventilation unit and near the ducts – check these markings.
  • Supply air filter – usually class F7–F9 or carbon, fitted at the insulated duct.
  • Extract air filter – simpler (usually class G3, G4 or M5), fitted at the uninsulated duct.

✅ 5. Close the cover and switch back on

  • Switch the unit back on.
  • Reset the filter timer.
